On the 20th of March, 2017 under the auspices of the Malta EU Presidency of the Council, Malta hosted the Informal Meeting of Health Ministers at the Grand Masters Palace, Valletta.
It was an excellent meeting and all went like clockwork.
Pierre was our floor manager – so we just couldn’t get it wrong !! ☺

Pierre Cachia was assigned the coordination and organisation of the Cabinet Meeting at Fgura Primary. For our school it was something we have never experienced and we had no idea on how to go about it. However Pierre’s outstanding performance and experience made it so easy for us! His positive attitude was praised by those who worked closely to him. I would really like to thank him on behalf of all members of our staff for making this event a fruitful experience that we shared. It was a pleasure working with him. Keep up the good work! I've had the pleasure of engaging Pierre Cachia on a number of large-scale national entertainment and cultural projects over the last couple of decades. There are three characteristics of his which keep me going back to him. He's reliable, experienced and a calm problem-solver.

As part of the preparations related to the hosting of the title of European Capital of Culture 2018 in Malta, the Valletta 2018 Foundation has found the service provided by Pierre Cachia to be of the highest level one can expect. It is a pleasure to work with someone as dynamic and professional as Pierre, and reassuring to know that he’s always ready to think ahead and go the extra mile.

Pierre is a fantastic asset to have on your team. He is an incredible problem solver and a no nonsense guy.

What I appreciated most about working with Pierre is his ability to cut through the predictable politics of a project, keep everyone happy, and deliver beyond what was expected.

The first thing that pops on my mind when Pierre Cachia is mentioned is “all rounder”.

As I work as an assistant producer for the popular program Kalamita, and Pierre is our floor manager, one thing that excels most in his qualities is responsibility.

I never saw the presenter being panicked throughout this whole schedule, and a huge motive for this is Pierre for managing to channel all the problems and tenseness into positivity and most of all hard work.

Apart from Kalamita, I had the experience to work at first hand with Pierre Cachia. The mobile company GO organized a weekend reality show, and I was one of the 4 personalities. A task had been set and we had to organize a big party / festival and accommodate a number of 300 persons. We needed a floor manager, somebody who will help us on the running of the program, and fend off some responsibilities off our side. Without a shadow of a doubt the first name that popped up was Pierre Cachia.

He didn’t let us down, with a lot of help from his side, we managed to overcome this challenge without a single problem. He managed the personnel (sound, singers, catering, ourselves, set) so perfectly!

Pierre Cachia is an all rounder. Responsibility, work rate and positivity are on top of his agenda.

A great co-ordinator and person who goes that extra mile. Having him around, you can rest assured and know things will go smoothly. Looking forward to work with him again!

I have known Pierre Cachia for many years now. I have seen him working on different programmes and events. Truly a professional and dedicated man in his work, perhaps sometimes too much of a perfectionist... but that is what makes him a professional.

Nothing else to say other than ... 'I feel safe having him around'. He is a one-stop-shop. Have been working with Pierre for quite some months now. Be it him managing a floor during a tv show, during some big event, a concert or a reception, he is always well prepared in anticipation with running orders, on the lookout for every detail around, giving advice to camera persons, also giving me some tips for some good shots. Personally, as a photographer myself, I hate having the 'normal' shots, and whenever I ask Pierre where I need to be at any particular time, you have to see him manipulating things around to make this location available asap and on time. Still thinking of someone you can rely on ... look no further. Mark my words.

I have known Pierre through TV work for the past years. He is a true hardworking gentleman with an eye for detail. His meticulous way of doing things puts him in a class of his own. It was a natural choice to have Pierre by our side on our wedding day to see that our itinerary goes as planned. Well done mate.

Usually I shy away from writing any form of testimonial but I could not resist the temptation of writing this one. Pierre is certainly a unique person, full of energy, focused on his work and constantly adopts a professional attitude. His personal charisma inspires people around him, his firm but fair attitude is his key attribute to success. It has been a pleasure working with Pierre. I strongly recommend him.

I have worked closely with Pierre during the TV programme "Fis-Sustanza". It was not easy for me to adapt myself within an environment which I was not affiliated with. In this case Pierre's meticulousness, precision and professionality during the course of the programme was unique. I used to feel very comfortable because Pierre was a continuous point of reference for me.

I have been working in the entertainment business with Pierre Cachia since the theatrical season 1994 / 1995 at the MCC when as Bonaci Brothers produced one of the biggest events at that time, The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber Live concert and Enzo Gusman live in Concert and a play called "Għandek jew m'għandekx dejjem problema" (Funny Money) a Comedy by Ray Cooney at the Manoel theatre. Till now, I worked with Pierre on hundreds of live Tv magazine programmes. As a floor manager he is the best on the job. He will keep the presenter focused all the time. Pierre is a very professional person with new ideas and he always wants the best at all costs, if you can't do it he will do it no matter what. Pierre is a gentleman, an excellent innovative person. He was a great asset when we formed the company Hermann Bonaci Productions in the year 1998. Pierre thanks for your loyalty. And keep up the good job.

I met Pierre for the first time when I was 16 years old during my first TV programme called 'Kulħadd fil-Millenju' Being my first programme I had many things to learn and Pierre was always there to give me his support and ideas on how to improve my production and presentation skills. From that time till today, Pierre was always my floor manger during each and every programme I have presented. Pierre loves floor managing and performs his duties with a lot of dedication. With just eye contact..., Pierre and I communicate effectively during a programme.

Pierre Cachia has been working for my Concerts since 2002, and he has always proved to be highly professional, hard working, and able to deliver on time. Having Pierre in my team is part of my success as La Barokka.

I have engaged Pierre for a number of major productions I was involved in. His involvement in my projects contributed in no small measure to their success. When Pierre is around whoever is responsible can put his or her mind at rest that there is someone who knows his business who does not need a lot of chasing to do what he is supposed to do.

I knew Pierre for the first time at Super 1 TV studios, while I was actively involved as vocal coach and judge of Bravi 2003 - 2004. Following a week's hectic schedule of sessions and training with the competitors, I appeared as judge in the weekly Sunday programme Bravi. Pierre Cachia was the floor manager of this programme.
Pierre has always had this professional approach to his work. He is disciplined, punctual, puts his heart into his work, and we always worked very smoothly hand in hand.
I appear regularly on television, and sometimes I am interviewed or invited as a guest singer. And quite often, I meet Pierre on the set, as a floor manager. Again, Pierre takes his work very seriously, and i feel very much at ease taking his directions.
Whether he's floor manager or working from behind the camera, Pierre is always creative. He has been cameraman to some TV commercials that i've done. Pierre has a sense of direction, knows what he wants to achieve and works hand in hand with the protagonists.
Most of all, and I'm proud to say this, Pierre believes in and appreciates Maltese talent, and he definitely supports people like me and other Maltese artists.

I've worked closely with Pierre on various productions, mainly news productions and entertainment shows. Pierre is a shoulder to rest on and when he's around I'm sure that everything would run smoothly. He's a professional person who focuses mainly on the assignment at hand. Pierre Cachia is a person to have in your team, if you want to have the best result ever.

I got to know Pierre Cachia as early as 1994, when he was on the point of starting his career in media and entertainment. I immediately visualized his talents and encouraged him to move to stage management. Since then in my capacity as Cultural Organizer and Secretary of the Malta Song Festival Committee I entrusted Pierre Cachia with many different project such as The International Festival of Maltese Song. Eurovision Song Festival, Jazz Festival and many other prestigious events. Pierre Cachia was a great asset to me and his professional skills helped towords the success of these activities.

...I consider Pierre Cachia as being very professional in his work... Most important he is a truly understanding person and hence puts the presenter at ease throughout the programme.He is also at his very best with the guests/sponsors which is in itself an asset to the programme...

Pierre Cachia has been involved as Stage and Floor Manager with HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c. for the past 3 years. He was floor / stage manager during the Bank's major conferences including the Staff Conference Let's Lead, the Annual General Meetings and Shareholders Meetings, the Group CEO Global Roadshow and the Euro Changeover Conference.
Throughout the events he has always shown a high level of responsibility, capable of remaining calm under pressure and work swiftly keeping to the tight deadlines. His attention to detail and the ability to deal promptly with any situation are strong characteristics of Pierre. He has always been a very good team player with our organizing staff and he is an asset to have during such events, flexible to work with any type of speakers and audience.

Pierre Cachia has been associated with me and the Saturday night top talk show "Bla Agenda" on One T.V. for the past 11 years. He is the programme's floor/studio manager and forms part of the Production team. He is hard-working, loyal, efficient, and able to take split second decisions without ever resorting to panic. His presence makes the programme flow like clockwork.

Having Pierre on the team is like having a 'sure bet' ! Extremely hard working, creative and most of all reliable - there is nothing like having a good problem solver when you most need one - and that is Pierre. Any director or producer can rest assured that the work required is being done in the exact manner that it was rehearsed and that any flaws will be corrected and 'it will be alright on the night !!!'

When I first met Pierre he was keen to start a career in the local media scene following the deregulation of the Maltese broadcasting sector. It was immediately evident that he was a fast and eager learner. Pierre is a hard-working collaborator with enviable energy levels. Pierre goes out of his way towards achieving goals set out by those he works with. Pierre is reliable and trustworthy because he follows through with tasks which most others would shy away from.

It was the first time that I worked closely with Pierre and was really glad and satisfied with the outcome. I have been organizing the Malta Football Awards for the past six years and truly I never felt organized like this year in backstage. His communication and coordination skills are second to none. He is well involved in the business and still prepares to the full. Surely one of the individuals I would ask to form part of my team in next year's edition of the Malta Football Awards.

Pierre Cachia was only a name I usually saw in the closing credits of TV programmes until June 2008 when I worked closely with Pierre for the 7th Edition of the Malta Football Awards. Being the production manager of the event and also the presenter of the show I felt 100% secure and my mind at rest of the work carried behind the scenes. Pierre, for sure you contributed for the awards to be once again a huge success! Thanks and may we have more opportunites to work together!
